Sergio Tobon is the director of social development for Proantioquia and leads Sustainable Antioquia, a cross-sector initiative which aims to implement and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Antioquia. He holds degrees in economics (Universidad de Antioquia) and development (Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana) and has studied the analysis of public policies (School of Public Policies, Universidad de Antioquia), innovation and leadership (INALDE Business School, Universidad de La Sabana, Bogotá) and NGO management (Georgetown University). He has taught in Medellín and has published articles on topics including corporate social responsibility, poverty, social protection and public policies.
