Sam Williams is landscape architect at Arup. His work deals with everything from the large-scale masterplanning of new cities and infrastructure projects through to the smaller scale of public realm parks and streets. Liveable, sustainable environments that can help tackle the challenges of the modern world are created by bringing together people, places and nature. His particular interest is in the role play has, both as a design tool and a way of delivering a wide range of societal and environmental benefits.
