Louisa Davies is the events manager at the Royal Shakespeare Company where she is responsible for developing a programme of activity to animate the theatre buildings for daytime visitors, as well as opening up main-stage productions and Shakespeare’s plays to the widest possible audience. She also works as an independent creative producer on a range of projects incorporating theatre, spoken word, outdoor arts and music. Currently her portfolio includes storytelling producers Adverse Camber, artist Yvon Bonenfant, who creates sculptural and performative work exploring the human voice, and film-maker/ photographer Adrian Burrows. For ten years she was the Producer – Performing Arts at mac birmingham. She is a board member of Birmingham-based theatre company The Bone Ensemble and has previously served on the boards of Foursight Theatre and The Other Way Works.
