Kate Bruintjes has over 18 years of experience in the field of sustainability, working with major UK and international companies in consultancy as well as working in industry and for an international charity. She is currently a principal consultant at DNV GL where she works with corporates to help develop and implement sustainable business strategies that build long term value. This includes advising and consulting on the Sustainable Development Goals, sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement and materiality, as well as sustainability reporting and assurance. She has worked in the UK and internationally with a wide variety of organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors including those in utilities, consumer goods, food and drink, oil and gas, leisure and hospitality and transport. She has previously worked at Deloitte, which included a secondment to the World Economic Forum, as well as EDF Energy and the International Business Leaders Forum.
