Joanna Holmes is CEO at Barton Hill Settlement, a multipurpose neighbourhood organisation serving an inner city area of East Central Bristol. She is responsible for a wide range of services and activities for 15,000 people per annum. Previously, she worked in both the health service and a local authority. She has been involved in many initiatives during her work in the voluntary and community sector. She was chair of Locality until recently and believes that linking local community businesses with national influencing and networking is a strong model.
