Gillian Bristow

Gillian Bristow is a Dean of Research for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and professor in economic geography at the University of Cardiff. Her research interests are in the areas of regional economic development, regional economic resilience, local and regional competitiveness, and regional policy. She supports the development and implementation of both the University’s research and innovation strategy, and the College’s research agenda. She is currently leading one of the University’s flagship engagement projects – City Region Exchange – which is designed to enhance the University’s engagement with the Cardiff Capital Region.
