Ges Rosenberg

Ges Rosenberg is a research fellow in engineering system and design in the University of Bristol Civil Engineering Department and a member of the Cabot Institute. His research applies systems approaches to the design, planning and management of infrastructure and urban systems with a focus on participative and collaborative working (co-design and co-creation). Recent projects include work on the development of the Interdependency Planning and Management Framework that comprises part of ‘the Green Book supplementary guidance: valuing infrastructure spend’, co-producing a participative framework to diagnose urban challenges (Bristol’s Urban ID project) and investigating the opportunities and adverse impacts advanced manufacturing may have on the sustainability and resilience of urban areas. His background also includes 20 years’ prior experience in business and industry, including as a company director.
