Ellen Hughes is a research fellow at Bristol and Bath by Design, University of the West of England. She is an oral historian who has worked on the Crafts’ Lives project at the British Library’s Life Story Collection conducting long form interviews with the leading figures in contemporary British crafts. She is presenter and co-producer of Bristol Kitchen Radio podcasts, a collection of interviews with people connected to the cultural life of the city.
