Anel Moldakhmetova is a cultural projects curator and creative producer at Light+Space studio, specialising in urban design and city development projects. She is also responsible for strategic communications and project coordination. She was co-founder of Urban Talks Almaty and has been a curator and producer of the Archcode Almaty project and a communication strategist and consultant for the Almaty Urban Air working group project. She has also worked as a producer of theatre and art projects. She graduated from Strelka Institute of Media, Architecture and Design in 2014 where she was a researcher in the Dwelling Studio. Her professional activity includes community building strategies, strategic communication, place-making, urban data research and consultancy. She has lived and worked in Bogota, Moscow, Wroclaw, Astana and Almaty, Kazakhstan.
